GLOCK 43 EDC Everyday Carry Concealed

About his EDC gear, 3Prcntr writes:

New Kore X3 belt. It’s amazing. The best reinforced belt I have ever used. At first I struggled with the belt buckle having swapped from a Blue Alpha Gear 1.5″ Low Profile EDC belt, but it grew on me quick. I wear slightly off center as you see in the pic, but on the other side of the buckle. I cannot stress enough how amazing this belt is, and how good the reinforced center is. Much better than my Blue Alpha. The best part about this belt is that it’s not leather, and reinforced all the way through. The BA belt was not and forced me to wear it with the buckle at my 3 o’clock. The Kore is much easier to poop with everything still attached (main reason anyone should use a gun belt, obviously). I still use a 14oz Leather belt from Alien Gear for OWB though (winter carry).

  1. Why does every single dump include a small notebook? I’m a younger guy, am I missing out on something?

    • Memory fading as you get older. Small notebooks and a pen come in handy for a lot of things. Grocery list. Things to do. Tag numbers. Discriptions. And so on.

As an old fart myself, I can relate.

      • I hear you loud and clear. My grocery and to-do lists are normally made at home and I would usually store important information on my phone. I’d just worry about that pen leaking in my pocket.

    • I tried that but found myself using my phone more often for notes, reminders, etc. I do keep one handy, but not EDC, so I can sketch out something I might make or to jot down dimensions or measurements… at that point it’s more useful to me.

    • 50 years ago, as a Boy Scout, a small spiral bound notebook and pen were highly recommended for EDC along with a pocketknife and wristwatch. See/hear something noteworthy? Write it down with the time/date.
