Environment Consultant uses plastic gun and rubber handled knife. Silly Humans.
A 9mm gun and a 0.9mm pencil. Nice synergy. I prefer the 0.7mm pencil, but YMMV.
Uses the butt of the knife as a nail driver for marking boundary lines. Given the type of field book, that is my guess. Probably has a GPS unit or a compass also.
