The zinc coating on the premium grade APEX steel shot ensures uniform pellets for optimum patterning in a steel load and, when combined with 18.1 g/cc TSS, helps deliver a harder hitting payload with improved terminal performance to reduce crippling.

I experimented with duplex loads for a spell, back when I had Rover to do my fetching. Woodland stream woodies to farm pond mallards and Canadas. I rolled my own, plus shot some factory stuff, and I found no benefit to duplex shot sizes, except to the ammo company profits. Unless you’re rolling in pots of money, better to buy less expensive ammo, and get more of it, and practice more because these won’t magically make a poor hunter into a better one.
