  1. Man, I sure hope james reeves wasn’t there filming a tfb video. I’ve been to this shop. They are nice people and like most Louisiana mom and pop gun stores, every employee was packing.

    • Well…it wouldn’t be beneath our intel agencies and bad actors to “help” something like this to happen, as the current administration positions itself to obliterate the 2nd Amendment. If there are more of this type of incident, there is our answer.

      • Don’t be ridiculous. This is my local gun range I was planning on going there today. It was a crazy person with two children with him

  2. I started wearing body armor to the local Virginia ranges, indoor and outdoor. Took my wife to an indoor range and insisted she wear it while learning to shoot the 9mm. Negligent discharges and suicides convinced me to do so. Unfortunately, the defectives and rude assholes don’t wear a sign around their necks and you have to watch everyone like a hawk.

    • If the range is that incompetent and owners are not in charge why endanger your wife who is not yet proficient enough to be there on her own? Sounds like you need to partner in a hunting lease where target shooting off season is much safer and enjoyable.

    • I don’t really use ranges that often but I did exactly the same thing for one of them years back after a guy pointed an AK pistol at me by accident. It wasn’t intentional, he just wasn’t paying attention. But it’s not like his intentions (or lack thereof) help me if he zaps me with a 7.62 or 5.45.

Even if I don’t go to a place like that I still rock an IFAK at the back of my belt.

Mostly I just go out somewhere or to my friend’s private “range” (about 1.4 acres enclosed in berms). Still rock the IFAK though, never know when something odd might happen and someone catches a ricochet or something.

    • I just ride out into the desert on my ATV and set up a target, or go to the members only range across the road. Much safer. The nearby public range is a death trap.

    • I don’t use indoor ranges for that reason, outdoor, I belong to a range club that has individual 50′ pistol bays with 10 foot berms between. On the rifle range, if I see a guy dressed in cameo and he’s not a sheriff, FBI or DHS, I move to another range.

        • Hunters are wearing cameo and orange. I’m talking about the “Tommy Tactical” type. And why would you wear cameo on a shooting range. I would want to stand out and be easily seen, not think I’m invisible…

      • Cameo is a sustainable, California-based and manufactured clothing line. For almost 2 decades, Cameo has specialized in making incredibly soft underwear, classic tops, dresses, jackets, skirts, swim and lounge wear in the most eco way possible.

All items are made in ethical factories in SoCal, USA where all employees make at least minimum wage, and over 75% of fabric used is overstock goods.

If I see a guy dressed in “cameo”, I am definitely going to be on alert, regardless of their Law Enforcement status.

  3. America’s # 1 sniper was shot & killed at a gun range just a few years ago… by another vet, unfortunately. R I P HERO🇺🇸

  4. No matter what the details end up being, according to the MSM and control groups, this will be the exception that disproves the general rule; Mass shootings do occur at gun stores/ranges etc. Therefore [insert gun control message here] is the only solution that might be effective.

  5. “JPSO sources say that a man entered the gun outlet with a loaded gun unholstered.

Sources say that the man got into an argument with a clerk who told him he should not have a loaded gun until he got inside the range.

According to JPSO sources, shots were fired during the argument when at least two customers on the range engaged the man.

The man was shot, but also fired back at the two customers who were also injured, according to JPSO sources.

At this time, Lopinto said it appears a suspect shot two victims inside the location, then was engaged by the two customers and shot outside the location by multiple other individuals.

The suspect is one of the deceased on scene, according to Lopinto.”

    • Sounds like a 2nd amendment defender didn’t like being told how to carry his weapon. Probably shouted “shall not be infringed” before they shots hit the fan.

      • I’m sure that’s exactly how it happened. In fact, that’s the only way it possibly could’ve happened. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

    • If true, appears yet another incident where everyone responding shot the correct person, rather than injuring other innocent people in the confusion as we kept being told is certain to happen in such incidents if we let the unwashed masses carry.

  6. Not having anything tangible I cannot speculate what happened other than someone let their temper get the best of them. Nonetheless going to Gun Shows and gun stores is much safer than going grocery shopping, getting fast food, stopping at a gas station, etc.

Basic protocol for entering and browsing Gun Stores, etc. is, “Show Some Hands.” If you have a handgun or rifle for repair have it in a case and of course very unloaded. When handling a firearm to purchase many counter people are serious shooters and can quickly determine experience so do not pretend to be a Ramob.

      • How the heck did you come up with Ramob?
I’m not having any trouble with the new font, and once I got used to this new fcked up format it ain’t all that bad. Well except the “Watchers” got a new back door.

  7. Not a good idea to go into a gun store and start shooting. Not only are the sales people armed but probably just about every customer is carrying. The gun stores I go into all the sales people are armed as well as I am.It’s the world we live in now.Hope the innocent victums are o.k and come out o.k in the end.

We’ll have to wait to hear the deal with the nutjob.

  9. “The sources said Joshua Jamal Williams carried a pistol with an extended clip into the gun store and indoor shooting range at 6719 Airline Drive about 3 p.m. Saturday when staff told him to unload his weapon. Rules prohibit people from having loaded guns out while away from the range.

Williams subsequently fired a warning round before fatally shooting a store clerk, 47-year-old Noah Fischbach, who was married and was a father, one of the sources said. Several armed people at Jefferson Gun Outlet then began exchanging gunfire with Williams.“

    • If I were to make a wild guess at the scenario, Mr Williams was a liberal or unregistered voter. Possibly voted for Biden and purchased a gun last year. He went to a range for the first time and was confronted by ‘white supremacists’ who expected him to follow their oppressive and discriminatory rules. Not one to let The Man keep him down and disrespect him, Mr Williams set about to correct the situation. He showed them that white privilege doesn’t include being bulletproof.
