“I was awakened with a gun in my face hollering ‘give me all yo money and give me all yo jewelry’ and I screamed ‘I don’t have any money and I don’t have any jewelry.'” As wafb.com reports, “That didn’t satisfy [him]. Then he asked me about everyone in my house during this time I’m fumbling to get my gun. He pushed me down. I got up fought back.” Turns out the gun the goon was holding was an air rifle. Not that the victim (who prefers to remain nameless) knew. “[I] kept on fighting and another person in the house got up to see what the dogs were barking at and that distracted him. When that distracted him I finally got to my pistol and fired a round,” the victim said. “He felt like it was going to be easy especially when he saw me on oxygen and a woman. I can take her down. Sorry.” [/sarcasm]

  1. All those who talk of empowering women are liars if they don’t talk of arming women at the same time. Colt made all men and women equal, not restraining orders and deadbolt locks and pepper spray.

All the women who matter to me are armed with the few exceptions who believe they’re protected by the state. I pray they survive the moment when they find out the truth of that.

  2. Wasn’t this the MENSA member that tried to tell the police, at the hospital, that he shot himself on a dare at a party? If so, that was the best part of the story…

    • It was. Story says they found him by calling area hospitals and asking if they had any gunshot wounds. What happened to the “common knowledge” that hospitals have to report all gunshots to the police? Why did they have to call around?

  3. He only had an air rifle the shooting was unjustified. Lock her up and take away her oxygen.
