  1. Analogy…Yesterday, it sprinkled here with 6 drops of rain…a trend that will contribute to the next 40 day/40 day night flood. Both have an equal chance, eh?

  2. Chief Clements is making a prediction. Violent crime in his fair city will drop.

Let’s check back with him in a year and see how he’s doing.

    • They seize – and keep – the guns.
As long as they seize – and keep – the violent perpetrator, he’ll be right.
But that isn’t the way it’s going to go, is it?
      🤠

  3. Population of Rhode Island ~= 1.06 million.
Population of US ~= 330 million.
Population of Rhode Island as a Percentage of US. ~=0.32%
Number of Guns in Private hands in U.S. ~=300-400 million
Approximate Number of Guns in Rhode Island = 0.0032*300 million to 0.0032*400 million
= 960,000 to 1.28 million ( I know guns aren’t equally distributed nationwide but go with me here)

Yup, I’m sure 8 is gonna make a pretty big difference.

    • YUP. Close the jails, shudder the prisons. Crime is now a thing of the past. Use the money for FREE social programs and support of the ILLEGALS. What a dolt.

    • Little Chief Baby Huey has no faith in show off eggheads who can count to 20 without taking their shoes and socks off.

  4. Well, I’ve heard there is a drop in crime in nearby Baltimore, but that’s offset by the population fleeing the city as fast as they can.

    Perhaps to Providence, perchance?

  5. Wow, what impressive numbers, 5 guns in 6 days (sarcasm intended). I carry that many on a 1 day hunting trip – all legally of course – some to hunt with, some for defensive use, some for target practice as I always want range time. Sure am glad I don’t live in that s#$%hole of Liberal Mentality.

  6. Yes, as a result of this “news story”, it will reinforce some Rhode Island legislators belief that we have a gun problem. Soon, if not already, they will introduce legislation to ban standard capacity magazines and certain modern sporting rifles and prohibit state pistol permit holders from carrying in schools, grades 1 through 12 where it is still legal. Soccer moms and dads from Barrington wearing red tee shirts will gather at the State House to chant. This happens every year.

  7. Yeah, Okay…Just as anti-2nd amendment as their neighbors in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts…How many “Unconstitutionally Searched and Seized is the real question….”
