Nothing to argue with here. Not that some of you out there won’t. This is, after all, the internet. Anyway, see what TJ totes every day on his appointed rounds at Everyday Carry . . .

  1. I’m a Griptilian fan as well.

If that’s a mini Redland Nebo light then you’re obviously of above average intelligence.

I carry a full-size Gerber multitool though, so you lost a point for that. Ha! Should have let that one hatch before carrying it.

    • Agreed! I carry one every day along with a Gerber Fairbairn Applegate knife I’ve had for years. It gets a lot of use.

    • Adding a tourniquet = not bare-essentials.

I know that’s heresy because tourniquets are the new trendy operator gear.

      • What you call trendy operator gear I call essential. I have been carrying one for years. Car accidents or lawn equipment accidents are far more likely than a violent encounter. Not only that but in a voilent encounter (or after) it also becomes essential. If we want to be prepared for any of these things prudence dictates we should act accordingly. Also the reason it is really catching on is that in recent conflicts it has been proven over and over again that they save lives, cost very little and are very easy to carry around. If you carry the equipment to make holes, you should be equiped to plug them as well.
