While there’s certainly nothing controversial about Michael’s Shield, we get the feeling this pocket dump may provoke more discussion than most. You can get the 411 on Michael’s other carry items at Everyday Carry.

  1. Everyday Carry identifies that controversial item as “Hat.”

Thanks, Everyday Carry, for clearing that up.

    • I was wondering what was controversial, folding knife, wallet, single clip IWB holster, light, cell phone, we’ve seen all of those before.

      • I think what is controversial about this post is the fact that the poster claims to be 16 years old and lives in Ohio but still carries concealed despite the 21 year age requirement.

    • Obviously, there’s going to be uproar about the kerning issues on the hat. Look at the weird gaps between the ‘m’ and the ‘e’ in America and the ‘a’ and the ‘g’ in again.

      Hugely controversial.

      • Actually the light is where the controversy should focus. At 35 lumens with a fresh battery, that particular Streamlight model barely lights up your feet when you drop your keys let alone IDing a bad guy.

Hey kid, be a real man and get yourself a Surefire.

    • Who would have suspected that Cecil would be a member of the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association?

      • You know how they have Crane, Monkey, and Dragon styles of Kung Fu? Well, now they have Lion Maga. It’s like Krav Maga with more roaring and clawing. When you reach 3rd Degree Golden Mane in Lion Maga, they give you a phone cover.

  2. I figured the lack of a spare mag (or three) would have the tacticools howling.

I carry spare ammo with a revolver cause it’s unobtrusive in my back pocket.

And where is the spare knife and light?

    Just messin……Carry on.

    • “And where is the spare knife and light?”

He would have, but he keeps forgetting because he didn’t write it down in his ‘Field Notes’ that he doesn’t daily carry…

(And his lips are terribly chapped because he keeps forgetting to buy ‘Dude Stick’, and his breath stinks since he forgets his Tactical Tic-Tacs)

      *rimshot*

    • And keeping his hand in my pocket is something that only a politician would do.

Or a pickpocket, which is a distinction without a difference.

  3. A proud gun owner with a Hillary hat would be controversial… Not to mention pretty dumb.

What’s her slogan anyway? “Stitches for Snitches”?

    • Strangely, her slogan is “Love trumps hate”

So not only giving Trump more exposure, but it doesn’t even sound like a slight against him as she intended.
