There are only two major firearm manufacturers that I like. FNH and Sig Sauer. The rest are smaller AR component companies like AR15Performance and medium companies like YHM, Spikes, Aero Percision, Wilson, Mega, Core, Mag Tec light lowers, Faxon and Rainer. I’ve never owned an HK, Remington or S&W, but I do own a 1980’s Ruger stainless folding Mini14 with flash and lug. And of course Norinco/Poly Tech. I’ve been impressed with Anderson lowers and uppers. Their anodized finish isn’t quite as strong as a Spike’s and the uppers lack dry lube, but for $50 definitely worth a look.

seeing as I am not a Navy Seal and Ruger or Remington makes everything I need right here in the good ole US of A, I have no need for FN or Sig.

This is my EDC, can’t believe it made it onto TTAG! This has been my daily (mostly) for about a year. Works for me and I trust it.
