Five reported shot at a Maryland office park.

“Five people have been shot at an office park in the Maryland community of Edgewood, and the shooter is believed to be on the loose, a deputy with the Harford County sheriff’s office said Wednesday morning,” cnn.com reports.

Area schools have been locked down as police pursue the shooter.

Someone in a nearby business told WBAL TV,

“Next door we have another business that we know pretty well, and as we were outside talking they guy said that he heard a bunch of arguing that calmed down. Then, he heard a bunch of more arguing. He said it sounded like a big huge fight going on and then next think he knew he heard some noises — didn’t sound like gunshots or didn’t really think it was gunshots — but the next thing he knew that’s when all chaos broke out,” Sullivan said.

More as it becomes available.

  1. Ok, this is getting weird fast… Can’t anyone keep their stories straight these days?

Harford sheriff’s office: 3 dead in shooting in Emmorton business park in Edgewood area

Three people have died and two are injured in a shooting at an Edgewood area business park, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday. The shooting occurred around 8:58 a.m., Advanced Granite Solutions, according to Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler. All five people shot are employees of the business….

    • “Can’t anyone keep their stories straight these days?”

No. And it isn’t anything that suspicious. With the death of periodicals and TV news, the internet reigns supreme, and, even more so than in the past, the news team that pushes a story first will make the most money. The result is that news teams will push any breaking news story as soon as they have any information. Often, that early information is incorrect, and this goes doubly so for chaotic and major events like shootings. But news teams push it anyway, because they have to get the story first. The result is conflicting and incorrect reports when major events first happen as news teams push any and all info they get, no matter the source.

Nothing nefarious, just plain old greed from news teams, and the pressures of the modern 24 hour news cycle.

      • The story always starts out crooked. One gets it straight with considerable time and attention to detail.

        • “The story always starts out crooked.”

          Wrong.

For proof, there was a self-defense case here in Florida a few years back. It barely made the local news. The cops investigated, all the eyewitness’s descriptions matched the story of the shooter, the physical evidence matched the story of the shooter, etc. The investigators and the DA agreed, and the case was closed.

Then, something remarkable happened. People who had no connection with the case *whatsoever* started making noises that the vicious thug who attacked a neighborhood watch guy was really the ‘victim’ of a racist White Mexican-American who shot down in cold blood an innocent young boy walking home from the corner bodega with a pack of Skittles and a can of Arizona Iced Tea.

          And the rest, was ‘history’…

    • THE WHOLE STORY IS WRONG.

This couldn’t possibly have happened in MD. They have gun control there.

  2. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.

I’ve converted 8 people to our side with that argument. It’s great.

        • That is the response I am given. I stick to “more lives saved with guns than taken annually in the US,” and “the homicide rates in the UK and Australia rose immediately after they passed their gun control.”

Haven’t convinced anyone, sadly, but I get the equivalent of “la la la la, I can’t hear you” often.

    • What, you never saw the video ” Monkey with an AK ” ? We need to say something along the line of , ” Guns don’t kill people. Great apes with guns kill people “.

    • Charles Bronson had a quote from Death Wish 5 that I always remembered: “Guns make you nervous?” “Guns have their uses. Idiots with guns make me nervous.”

    • Double felon with 18 other arrests or citations besides his two felonies ( felony robbery, then a later felony possession of a firearm by a felon).
Arrest records in Washington State (still wanted there) Delaware and Maryland.

BEFORE this shooting this guy had enough arrests to be in jail until 2041. Moreover a Democrat judge in Maryland denied issuing a restraining order requested by one of the employees despite this killers LONG rap sheet

The media will not admit this but this is, like the vast majority of US homicide, someone who shoudl have been in jail when the crime was committed by any sensible measure.

This was a career criminal on our streets

  3. Ehh…”workplace” violence dontchaknow. My son and grandkids live nearby but my fudd progeny has cops on either side so they’re “safe”. I stopped arguing. This from a fudd who carried weapons in war…😡

  4. Multiple felony burglary counts years ago, sentenced to 24 years I believe all but two years suspended. Arrested just a few years ago on multiple firearms charges, media report all of them were dropped including felon in possession of a firearm. Firearms charges always the first ones pleabargained away by prosecutors.

  5. Just another felon who’s paid his debt to society and been released. A perfect candidate for restoration of his right to keep and bear arms, said every moronic, shortsighted, 2A absolutist everywhere.

    • Yeah, its like the “no firearms for felons” law is mostly useful for showing that gun laws don’t work cause I’m not sure it made any difference for at least three people today.

  6. Believed to have used a handgun. They better rush a new AWB through to stop this sort of thing from happening ever again.
