  1. That is one argument my brain does not have with me. My brain is more likely to say, ‘do you need so many?’

    • Yah no NTexas, if it ever comes down to what a person says on a blog, you’ve pretty much gottem cluster fcked.

      • IM KINDA DEEF A BIT IN DAH EARS MOSTLEE PIPE SIDE FROM ALL DAH SHOOTIN N RIDIN SOS ITS KINDA NICE DAT HE ALWAYS IS SHOUTIN WATEVR HE GOTS TA SAY!! TANKS ALWAYS NTexas!!

  2. Hmmmm….on the nightstand: 2 loaded, round-in-the-chamber, semi-auto pistols. Plus othe gear.

    No lil’ tykes running around.

I’d sleep well at night if only I wasn’t a raging insomniac.

  3. Well…
That same gun when loaded and on your person when your out and about has more value than the gun or the case of ammo does separately. So dream of range visits, competition matches, and walking away unharmed.

  4. The firearms in the vault are still of more value than the ammo in the locker. But most would be easier to replace if they went missing. Common loads are now available, but some of the less common cartridges are still hard to find. Would like to find some 50-120 Sharps loads. Even empty brass is scarce.

    • Same with 45-70 Gov’t. I don’t think that Starline is even producing them at this point in time. And let’s not talk about primers!

      • Primers have been getting better (more available still expensive) but only able to find 5.56, 308, 9mm, and .40 brass lately. Better than last year but not great.

        • A new primer plant is coming on-line, so prices should be dropping soon.

I doubt they will ever be 3 cents per, however…

        • I can get comically large orders (10k) for 12 cents per primer. If this plant can drop it to 6 cents and maybe smaller batches I can restock some primers and quit recharging old ones. Any estimated timeline for when they plan to be online?

  5. Gotta clear the mind. This is why I don’t check work email in the evening or on weekends.

I used to turn my cell phone off on the weekends.

  6. keep bolt action single shot 22 hidden in the closet behind my sunday go to meetins clothes. The three boolits are in the bottom of the sock drawer.

    • “The three boolits are in the bottom of the sock drawer.”

The same ones you found in the bottom of the washer? 🙂
