  1. Careful! That’s a Firearm, not a Shotgun!
If you get it wrong, Grampy Joe’s AFT might come shoot your dog.

    • I already shuted my dog. Cut it up into 2 inch chunks added a lot of hot peppers boiled it 3hours and served with long white noodles. Hah hah ATf beat yah.

      • I’m sure there are plenty of folks that’d be happy to hold em while you beat em!

  2. I’d like to comment, but all of my posts since mid-day have gone to moderation.

It’s almost as if TTAG doesn’t want me posting here.

  3. I prefer my birds to have feathers on them. They’re a little more inconvenient to clean, but they eat better.

  4. I guess I don’t get what the best restaurant chain in America that doesn’t have a single franchise within 200 miles of my home has to do with skeet/trap shooting.

    • Bill, if you don’t have one nearby, you’re right — you don’t get it. 🙂

If it makes you feel any better, the last two times that the wife and I did WF, we were disappointed. Since the pandemic and their economic problems, there aren’t as many of them around, and they cut the menu choices to take away the wife’s favorite.

What does that have to do with shotguns? Damned if I know.

      • As long as they still have the pecan waffles and hash browns… Been a few years since I’ve been to one. Being a Yankee has it’s disadvantages.

    • You’re not talking about the Awffle House, are you?

Good lord, that place is a hellhole. I don’t know what it was 20 years ago, but today it’s a gathering place for people who can’t afford to live in tents on the street. It’s got more problem customers than an average Spirit flight. Its customers are those who someday aspire to make it high enough to go to Wal-Mart some day.

So, yeah, good luck with that. But don’t ever go in that place nowadays without being armed.

    • Could be worse.

Star Wars used tech to resurrect Princess Leia just so they could kill off Han Solo later in the movie.

      • At least they didn’t crash the Millennium Falcon into an asteroid just to get a rise out of the audience. How many times did the ST movies blow up Enterprises simply for the dramatic effect?

        • It never occurred to me that it was for dramatic effect.

I always figured that was because the Federation was basically Socialists in Space and that they needed to get rid of a lot of useless eater redshirts to save resources since that’s how collectivization works in practice.

But then when I was a kid the main show wasn’t the original. It was STNG.

        • Umm …. once? (ST3) And I don’t believe it was for dramatic effect — it was a major plot turn to get the crew into a Klingon ship for their trip back in time during the next movie.

        • It’s way, way more than once.

STNG starts with the “Enterprise D”. Enterprise, Enterprise B and Enterprise C are all destroyed in the original series/movies. D is destroyed at least once in a NG movie.

The HIN changes with each ship. NCC-1701, NCC-1701A through NCC-1701E. There are also pre-Federation versions with different hull numbers entirely but the same name.

The class of the ship changes over time too. Picard has Galaxy and Ambassador class ships while the Kirk ships are Constitution classes of various numbers and something else that I don’t recall.

    • Wow the spoilers. What’s wrong with you people? I often avoid watching trailers of movies that interest me.

    • Meh, Sound of Freedom, filmed in 2018 out-earned Indiana Jones by -$3 million on its first day. Ironic as D!sney, gr00m3rs they are, got the rights to Sound of Freedom years ago and tried to bury it.

  5. SOME HAVE APP SO CAN RESERVE DAY / TIME WHEN TO GO .
    SO RIGHT GOOD LUCK .
WHERE 410 AMMO … NONE OUT ON SHELF
