    • Over time as foolish and innocent Democrats get mugged more of them turn into Republicans, except the ones that get shot dead since most of them will continue to vote Democrat.

      • I guess it’s possible as a person gets older and finally grows up. But that only applies to the rank and file.

        In general, Democrats don’t turn into Republicans. People have said this happens but those are just individuals that can’t grasp the concept of the RINO. When a Washington Democrat gets shot, they just go even more anti-gun. Getting mugged just makes them want to release more criminals from behind bars.

    • Most left-wing journalist and activist-for-some-cause (including anti-gun) are using some kind of drugs either heavy duty narcotic type prescription or an illegal substance or are secret or open alcoholics. It just goes along with the self-manufactured angst, imagined wrongs, and ‘liberal’ nature life style they lead.

      My wife is a free lance journalist and trained researcher. She does contract jobs for MSM, various publications, and research contracts for various projects for government contracts or investigative journalism contracts. On every contract she has worked where she encountered left-wing journalists (in legacy MSM ya cant go 2 feet unless you trip over one), or a left-wing activist group, there is always this basically rampant drug and alcohol abuse being indulged in within their work, social, and community circles and there are a lot of very badly ’emotionally and mentally damaged’ people.

      More than 65% of gay people who are victims of violence, that violence is perpetrated upon them by a (domestic or ‘romantic interest’ or ‘sexual’) ‘partner’. More than 80% of trans people who are victims of violence, that violence is perpetrated upon them by a (domestic or ‘romantic interest’ or ‘sexual’) ‘partner’. Violence, in some form from these ‘partners’ and among the communities as a whole for gay-gay or trans-trans ‘relationships’ (e.g. assaults, sexual, routine dominate partner physical abuse, even murder) is rampant in these communities as is ‘social’ and ‘private’ drug and alcohol abuse.

    Contrary to the anti-gun, inflated biased ‘stats’ from places like the GVA and Trace, the ‘amplification’ by MSM, use of a firearm by a criminal in a crime is overall actually rare in overall violent crime, its less than ~12% of the violent crimes. More frequently and more commonly used by criminals are non-firearms ‘weapons’ such as sharp/edged/pointed (e.g. knives), blunt objects (e.g. bats, crowbars, pipes, bricks, other objects available), chemicals, ligatures, hand/feet, and fire as well.

    Across the United States daily, although only about ~5% of criminals use fire as a weapon, there are ~230 victims daily against which that fire was used by the criminal as the weapon and although ‘results injury’ ranges from no injury to serious injury about ~ 10 – 15 (numbers vary in that range) are seriously injured (and some die) – this is, for those victims seriously injured, at a low end minimum ~3,600 victims of criminal attacks using fire annually. The most common ‘fire producing’ weapon used by criminals who use fire as a weapon is the common Bic Lighter used in combination with a flammable ‘chemical’ (e.g. lighter fluid, gasolene, some aerosol sprays).
