Too soon, I know. Personally I’m just now warming up to Abraham Lincoln assassination jokes.

In all seriousness, Ukrainians are being absolute badasses and patriots and I wish them every success.

    • “Use those baskets for heads.”

Say that around some Navy guys and they’ll take a dump in them.

  1. Surrender to an enemy that has committed to undeclared warfare? Foolish.
Death comes for us all, but your true self shows and all bravado and narcissism vanishes when death presents itself.

Makes me wonder how Americans would react to an invasion by another 1st world superpower.
We’ll be too occupied blaming/fighting/killing each other for ‘aiding and abetting the enemy’ while the enemy motor boats our infrastructure and upending local governments.

    • No intelligent country wants to deal with us.

Too many fat, entitled, whiney, dumbfuck adult children in the US for it to be worth invading.

Unless the commodity of the future is landwhale oil, we’re pretty safe.

      • Our main defense is the fact that any invasion of the Continental US would be a logistical nightmare. It’s our counterpart to Russian winter.

  2. No matter your political beliefs, fighting Goliath with a rifle takes guts.
Good men cannot stomach surrender without a fight.
If I was a Russian soldier ordered to open up on old men and boys I hope I’d have the guts to say no.

  3. For anyone who would like to see a combat photo of a integrally suppressed VSS Vintorez taken today – https://t.me/realwarexe/103

WARNING – The photo also shows the (former) Spetnaz operator of the weapon. He has seen far better days and it’s graphic.

    • It’s apparent he died quickly, I am saddened by any waste of human life.
On the technical side, are those intended to be used with subsonic ammo? Like a high mass bullet?

      • In a nut shell;

The Vintorez is integrally suppressed and chambered in 9×39mm, a subsonic cartridge. Manufacturing was at the Tula Arms Plant after its initial adoption in 1987. The most recent variation on it is the VSSM GRAU 6P29M for which delivery started in 2018.

The VSS Vintorez – In Russian: ‘Винто́вка Сна́йперская Специа́льная «Винторе́з’, In translation : ‘Vintóvka Snáyperskaya Spetsiálnaya “Vintorez” ‘, literally means ‘Special Sniper Rifle’ (nicknamed the ‘Thread Cutter’). The GRAU designation is 6P29 where its shown as a marksman rifle featuring an integral suppressor originating from the Soviet Union.

  4. This meme, very bad taste. To use your words: “In all seriousness” innocent un-armed non-resisting Ukraine citizens are literally being murdered or attempted to be murdered by Russian military, Russia has invaded a country sovereign territory in the first empire building war of the 21st century, a nuke armed Russia has literally threatened WW III if anyone come to Ukraine aid, Russia has threatened to ‘de-orbit’ the 500 ton ISS over the U.S. or India or China (yes, Russia controls the ISS orbit height – the devastation this would cause in a populated area is horrific) – and this is funny enough to you that’s its meme worthy.

To use your words once again: “In all seriousness” WTF is wrong with you?

    • un-armed non-resisting Ukraine citizens
Where are you getting your news? It seems the Ukrainians armed up pretty quickly and are not simply being steam-rolled by the Soviets Russians.
And it’s because of that little weapon up top to some large extent. Hence the meme.

      • Not all Ukrainians are arming up and/or resisting – many are trying to flee. The Russains have murdered about 180 un-armed non-resisting Ukraine citizens so far, many in the cities of Mariupol and Khakiv. An example is the Russian tank that purposely went after a car driven by an elderly un-armed non-resisting man, and drove over the car then backed back over it – the elderly driver survived the ordeal but it was an act of cold blooded attempted murder and if the driver would have been killed it would have been murder.

Not only Ukrainian citizens but ex-pats from other countries living there have been murdered as well and these were also un-armed non-resisting.

  6. Vladimir Putin is very grateful to those who have helped him along the way, rewarding them handsomely for their efforts against America:

“And next to Putin at the head table, in the seat of honor, was an American. Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who would later become Donald Trump’s national security adviser, was already advising Trump’s presidential campaign when he was paid $45,000 to speak at the gala.“

Mother Russia is so thankful for the contributions by their American collaborators, when Putin’s dictatorship is established he will reward his soldiers well:

  7. Donald Trump has shown his ‘strength’ by eroding Ukraine‘s ability to defend themselves from Vladimir Putin and the Red Army:

“Trump blocked payment of a congressionally mandated $400 million military aid package to allegedly obtain quid pro quo cooperation from Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump released the aid after becoming aware of a whistleblower complaint about his activities relating to Ukraine, before the complaint was known by Congress or the public.[6] A number of contacts were established between the White House and the government of Ukraine, culminating in a phone call between Trump and Zelensky on July 25, 2019.“

  8. I wonder just how much money the democrats are going tomake at of the war? Since they, the War Party, helped to start it.

    • Interesting, you always say the problem isn’t the gun, it’s the person pulling the trigger.

And in this case, the trigger puller is Vladimir Putin and the Red Army.

So why don’t you hold Vladimir Putin and his team of corrupt oligarchs responsible?

You want to blame everyone except the person who actually pulled the trigger.

  9. Your link to YouTube wants me to sign in & confirm my age to watch that video. None of their damn business.

  10. Reading about that 9×39 round I predict it’s going to be popular even without suppression. Big 274 grain bullet, sounds like a really fun plinker able to knock down steel targets with authority.
