Imagine if a lawmaker introduced an unconstitutional anti-gun bill and the media told the truth.
Imagine if reporters actually did their job, and held the lawmaker accountable.
Imagine if they described the bill as a violation of our constitutional rights, an assault on personal liberties and individual freedoms, and not what the Framers had in mind when they wrote the Second Amendment.
Imagine if there were editorials calling out the lawmaker for his unconstitutional views, questioning his ethics and demanding he or she resign.
The media is supposed to be the watchdog of our elected officials. They’re supposed to ask questions and hold them accountable. However, when it comes to anything having to do with guns, the media has completely abrogated their responsibilities.
The sad part is they don’t care.
The media controls the narrative. They can correct bad behavior. They can force change if they want.

Imagine if politicians kept their oath to uphold the constitution, and all amendments thereto. Even the icky ones.
I find it easier to believe that the MSM would rather torch the bill of rights instead of supporting the 2A. Hell, I’ve seen more than a few stink-pieces from far left partisan activist nut-jobs that call for the open abolition of the constitution itself.
Not until the entire, and I mean ENTIRE, MSM is replaced by new blood. The organizations therein are too ideologically compromised. The days of Walter Cronkite have long since died.
Cronkite was a pompous, anti-American wretch.

Imagine at nation where an illegitimate government sits as a result of a fraudulent election and it was honestly and accurately reported.
Imagine the manifestation of Proverbs 24: (NIV) “21 Fear the Lord and the king, my son, and do not join with rebellious officials, 22 for those two will send sudden destruction on them, and who knows what calamities they can bring?”

I read a good one on the Interwebs a few years ago: the mainstream media’s job is to cover important stories, with a pillow, until they suffocate.

The media, like most powerful institutions in this country has been taken over by democrats (communist party USA) and does everything in it’s power to further the goals of the left. Their ultimate goal is destruction of the American Republic and they are moving rapidly in that direction. The media of your dreams died decades ago, killed by an internal cancer.
20 January 2021 marked the beginning of “The New Dark Ages”. It may take 500 years for us to recover, if ever. That shining light on a hill is rapidly going dim.

Most Media including MSM have no clue about life in middle America, aka flyover country. Most live in big urban areas and outside of that bubble have no interest in anything else.
Their mindset is that everyone lives as they do and if they don’t, they should.

Until we ALL, including the journalists on “our side,” understand and admit that the mainstream media is well beyond the state of “not caring,” but in fact are openly and radically fighting for an ideology anathema to the founding principles of the United States, we will never have a chance to effectively react to this domestic enemy.

The news media in general is as anti-civil rights as the ACLU. As a supporter of the ACLU you may have given them your money. Just as people gave their money to the National Rifle Association. But both organizations the ACLU and the NRA have failed miserably in supporting civil rights. But they have done an excellent job of getting donations.
The American civil liberties Union has always been an anti-civil rights organization. It never supported the Second Amendment as an individual right to keep and bear arms. The ACLU has publicly stated that guns are only to be possessed, owned, and used by the government. The ACLU has never supported the 2A since its founding.
The ACLU one of the board members of the ACLU co-wrote the most racist modern-day gun control law in America the Mulford Act. And the ACLU has never supported the 1st amendment. But they do support cross burning and flag burning.
You don’t get to choose which one of the amendments to the Bill of Rights you want to support. And then not support the others. Doing so the news media is just as anti-civil rights as the Klu Klux Klan.
