The latest from Leupold . . .

Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world’s most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce the addition of a new model to its popular DeltaPoint Pro line — one that features a 6-MOA dot.

Designed for competitive speed shooting and personal defense, the larger 6 MOA red dot excels at rapid, close-range target engagement and increases accuracy when it matters most. An incredibly wide field of view and crystal-clear glass dominates the competition, while its rugged aluminum housing and spring steel guard ensure it will perform in the harshest conditions.

“The DeltaPoint Pro is the fastest, toughest red dot on the market, and has been used to win pistol competitions around the world,” said John Snodgrass, Tactical Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Shooters asked for a larger dot, something designed to make it even easier to get on target fast at close range. With the new 6 MOA model, we’ve delivered that in a proven package that’s designed, machined, and assembled right here in the United States.”

The DeltaPoint Pro is designed for those who don’t just demand speed, but depend on it. You’ll see more in less light with Leupold’s Professional-Grade Red Dot Optical System, which delivers the light transmission, glare reduction, and resolution that professional shooters demand. Its design creates an incredible field-of-view that opens up your peripherals and allows you to get on target fast.

Like all Leupold red dot sights, the DeltaPoint Pro is supported by the company’s battery-saving Motion Sensor Technology (MST), which puts the sight into a battery-saving standby mode after five minutes of inactivity. When the MST detects motion, it instantly activates the sight so it’s ready when you are. A manual mode allows the sight to shut off when not in use.

The new 6 MOA DeltaPoint Pro will be available both in a Matte Black and Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish.

Waterproof, fogproof, and guaranteed to perform life, the DeltaPoint Pro is designed, machined, and assembled in Leupold’s Beaverton, Ore., factory.

  1. Government should send some of these out with next covid stimulus check to law abiding gun owners. Anti-gunner people can get a 3d printed rape whistle

  2. I love products that are “designed for competitive speed shooting and defense”. Thank you! I never felt the two should be exclusive.
“That competition trigger is going to lead to a conviction” is utter nonsense.
My 3gun setup is also part of my defense arsenal. Fast and accurate is a great asset in a fight.

  3. Anyone else amused that Leupold stills call it the DeltaPoint since getting rid of the actual delta?

    • The delta is the best! I have astigmatism, and the triangular reticle is way better for me than a dot reticle, which all look to me like a cluster of dots. The DeltaPoint delta looks like two triangles right next to each other, and that’s the best non-prismatic sight I’ve ever seen.

  4. “Designed, machined and assembled in the US”, that’s their way of saying “We machine an aluminum housing in the US, then fill it with optics and electronics that we bought in China”? What you don’t say means more than what you say, well done: we were just getting bored with the politicians’ double-speak…

    • Yes sir , theres a lot of companies using that trick. Didn’t have the heart to tell my son when he proudly gave me a Cobratech, “Yeah Dad, and it’s made in Texas”

    • The reality is that it’s probably more honest to say it that way instead of just saying “made in the USA” which they might be able to get away with. All but one or two optics companies get at least some components from various Asian countries because the sad reality is that the US and Europe just don’t have the capability to produce what we need.
