Mission First Tactical (MFT), manufacturers of state-of-the-art, USA made rifle/carbine accessories and holsters, is proud to announce the new Pro Series Guardian OWB Holster.

“We leveraged our relationships within the professional space to get the input needed to create the best Concealable Outside the Waistband (OWB) holster on the market, the Pro Series Guardian OWB Holster,” said Bobby McGee, Executive Vice President of Product Development/Innovation, Mission First Tactical. “It’s exciting to think about how this holster will be keeping the men and women tasked with protecting high value assets on the cutting edge of holster technology.”

With valuable insights from professionals in the field, we have developed the ultimate Concealable Outside the Waistband (OWB) holster: the Pro Series Guardian. Designed to keep law enforcement officers equipped with the latest holster technology, this holster is set to redefine the industry standard.

Expanding our professional concealment line, we are proud to present the Pro Series Guardian OWB Holster to the law enforcement marketplace. Our focus is on achieving unparalleled concealment and employing a unique handgun retention system that utilizes our patented magnetic retention technology.

The Pro Series Guardian combines our innovative In-Line Magnetic Retention System (ILMRS) with an ultra-thin, comfortable profile. With no adjustment or wear concerns, the ILMRS system ensures consistent retention with every draw. The neodymium magnet, boasting an impressive 11 lbs. maximum pull weight, securely holds a fully loaded pistol in the holster without the need for any locking devices.

Notably, the magnetic retention is not affected by mounted lights. All mounting hardware utilizes red Loctite, eliminating the need to maintain mounting screws torque. Adding to the innovation, we have incorporated CURV Thermoplastic Composite fabric for the Belt Loops, delivering a lighter, stronger alternative to leather and other synthetic materials, all while providing exceptional comfort. This comprehensive package offers the ultimate experience in a professional-grade concealment holster.

The Pro Series Guardian OWB Holster also features the Integrated Barrel Stabilizer Insert (IBSI), an ingenious system designed to maintain the alignment of the pistol with the holster body spine. This allows the IBSI system to function flawlessly, with or without an under barrel-mounted weapon light.

  1. PS: I don’t give a damn who makes it, Kydex is the most uncomfortable and useless crap ever invented and it still sucks no matter how they dress it up.

    • Galco Fletch High Ride, OWB, leather, tucks nicely, my G29 does not print under a loose fit t-shirt and it’s very comfortable great for riding, driving, going to the movies, whatever…

      • Damn, mine only has a thumb break retention strap… Some break in time was required, used a leather conditioner then stuck the Glock in a baggie and kept it in the holster overnight, just enough drag and with the strap high confidence in the retention abilities of this one… A little pricier but quality leather and stitching, I have a 20 year old Galco Jackass shoulder rig that still looks like new…

    • gunny, I understand. I like nice leather. I’m looking at a Wilson Combat/Milt Sparks OWB colaberation. Horsehide body w/shark skin trim for a 5″ 1911. I don’t remember when I didn’t own a Milt Sparks IWB, Kramer, Mitch Rosen, etc. I also own a bit of kydex. All Blade Tech. I can’t tell a difference in comfort. In fact, for IWB, I find it more comfortable than leather. It’s thinner. Then there’s the sweat factor. 101 here yesterday. Heat index was 115. I’ve thrown away more than one leather holster when it got sloppy. Sweat is hard on leather. And the handgun. Not saying leather should be forgotten. However, ignore kydex at the peril of the finish on your handgun, at the very least.

        • No need to Google them. I know Diamond D. And El Paso Saddlery. And… I’ve been around for longer than I wish I have been. You’ll have to reach deeper than that. Still, I always like to learn of any new leather maker.

  2. Ugly. For OWB, only leather will do, even if it is usually concealed. Sweat is not usually a factor for OWB.

    • Mark, you must live in a cooler climate than me. BTW, did I neglect to mention salt water? I spend a little time around it.

      • It was only 100 today, but as usual, very dry (often in the low teens or single digits). It is about a hundred miles to the nearest salt water. It won’t be up to 108 until Sunday. But I work in an air conditioned office, so I do not sweat through my waist band and belt. I have a very comfortable all leather Kirkpatrick OWB. Double stitched, reinforced throat, sweat shield.

  3. If I’m trying to conceal a firearm then OWB is not the answer. With that said, there are ways to conceal anything. The question becomes more about wardrobe.

  4. The problem with Kydex for an OWB concealed holster is the manufacturers and material.

For Kydex, ‘OWB concealed’ holster manufacturers tend towards concentrating on ‘feature’ for some form of retention (usually passive friction) and ‘conversion’ of their existing IWB concealed into a ‘OWB concealed’. This overall increases the amount of material needed for the holster for rigidity. Thus its more un-likely a Kydex holster billed as ‘OWB concealable’ (or capable) will be as ‘concealable’ in terms of ‘printing’ compared to a leather holster ‘OWB concealable’ (or capable) ‘pancake type’ which usually offer less printing with higher ride and being tucked in closer.
