Shell Shock Technologies, LLC., an early stage technology and manufacturing company focused on developing innovative case technologies for the ammunition  industry, announces that girlSHOT has launched its Concealed Carry Ammo Compact, which hides 10 personal defense rounds featuring Shell Shock Technologies’ revolutionary NAS3 casings in a secret compartment.

girlSHOT, LLC is a woman owned, managed and operated company focused on providing high-quality products for women shooters, advocating personal safety and family protection. With that in mind, its first product is the Concealed Carry Ammo Compact. The unique, soft-touch concealed carry compact case includes a mirror inside the lid; however, when the inner lid is opened a hidden inner compartment is revealed.

This compartment holds 10 personal protection 9mm Luger rounds that combine NAS3 case technology with Full Stop expanding solid-copper hollow-point bullets. The case heads have been anodized a beautiful “Santa Fe” blue exclusively for girlSHOT. The MSRP is $49.95. The girlSHOT themed Personal Protection 9mm Luger rounds are also available in a box of 20 from Shell Shock Technologies for $24.95.

About Shell Shock’s NAS3 Cases: 
Shell Shock’s NAS3 9mm cases are 50 percent lighter than brass cases, offer greater lubricity and will not abrade, clog, foul, wear-out or damage breach and ejector mechanisms. The cases offer greater corrosion resistance, tensile strength (2x stronger) and elasticity than brass. NAS3 cases will not split, chip, crack or grow (stretch) and are fully reloadable (using S3 Reload dies) and can be reloaded many more times than brass cases. NAS³ cases have been tested successfully by customers to pressures over 70k psi. NAS³ cases can be picked up with a magnet. The head can be colored for branding purposes and easy load identification.
NAS3 is “Best in Class” for maintaining consistent velocity between rounds. In an independent test performed by H.P. White Laboratory (a major munitions testing facility), rounds fired using NAS3 cases achieved a velocity standard deviation of 0.093 FPS (124-grain FMJ bullet, 4.2 grains Titegroup powder, 10 rounds, extreme variation 3fps).

  1. Maybe OK for some gals who have their ammo confused with jewelry… Doesn’t appeal to me. I carry spare ammo in a carrier on my belt, and keep a lot more stored elsewhere. Can’t imagine being able to afford jewelry class ammo… or these containers. No sale. 🙂

    • As a woman, would never mistake ammunition for jewelry. But also not going to spend extra for girly rounds. As far as using compact style, I don’t have a problem with it and don’t think it’s insulting to women
      I would probably use it for moon chips for my Ruger SP101 9 revolver with Crimson Trace laser grip.
      Having been raised with 3 brothers I’m not a candy ass woman but do think life is too short to carry ugly guns in ugly holsters. I make no apologies for being a handgun carrying woman that likes good looking weapons. On family ranch we have always had cayotes, raccoons with bad attitudes and now recently spotted a Bobcat. As long as they keep their distance they have nothing to fear from us.

    • I like that; I also noticed the non-primed cases. Also the bullets look like standard FMJ to me, not any sort of expanding projectile.

      The NAS cases look interesting – at first glance, I thought they were showing .45 Auto Rim, ’cause the joint at the cartridge base looked odd.

    • Seriously, if I was a female I’d be offended by this. Women can and should carry guns just like men do. Pink guns and makeup style ammo carriers are insulting.

      Yeah, loose pistol cartridges make no sense whatsoever. Kinda reminds me of the debate we’ve all heard regarding pistols vs revolvers: “pistols are faster to reload!”, to which I respond by handing the pistolero an empty gun, magazine and loose ammo – “Okay, GO!”

  8. Not gonna tell y’all what I thought that product was, looking at the first picture. Then the next thought was why would she need more than one or two of those at most. The later pictures gave me a better understanding of the size of the product, that and the fact it was in TTAG made it clear I had misunderstood!
