Sure like how quickly Ruger is moving. I’m seriously thinking about the new EC9s and mebbe this.
alright Ruger chill out with your bad self. First you actually listen to your customers and now you start assisting the guys making aftermarket goodies for your guns. What’s next you gonna start pumpin out mags and letting others use them as a basis for a Glock alternative? You gonna start getting night sights and fiber optic sights made for all your guns? You gonna get holsters made too?
Me thinks they might actually start getting serious about being a competitor in a crowded field. I’d love to see them eventually put something out that can compete with a Glock and maybe become the next omnipresent pistol.
That would be so great. I really like everything Ruger makes, really no bad choices in their line up. Some of them aren’t game changing at all, but over all they’re a quality product at a reasonable price. I would love to see their mags become a second “standard” magazine along with Glock mags.
I am so trying to figure out who can lickity-split me one of their new 9mm carbines.
Actually in my mind their only current weak offering is the Ruger American, there was no reason it couldn’t have used the SR series magazine. Or better option, just give us an SR Gen 2 series with the Ruger American features and get rid of the manual safety.
Viridian Lasers do not work in the cold, so beware if you planning on carrying it at temperatures much below 15 degrees out. I have confirmed this with the factory after I made the mistake of buying five of the laser/light 5 and 5XL lights as demos for law enforcement. The laser goes first… then the programing features… then the light. Crimson Trace (and no I don’t work for them) red and green lasers and laser/light combos will work on weapons that have been outside in my truck all night unheated at -30 below F, including the LinQ system. Just thought you all should know.. Great programing features on the Viridian’s and I do keep some and sell some for home defense use.
