Tevin Cameron Horton figured he’s pick up a little extra cash when he strolled into the N&A convenience store and pulled a gun on the clerk. But Bashir Aldafari lunged for the stick-up man’s gun . . .
The two briefly struggled and the clerk tried to run to another area of the store but was followed by Horton.
Police say that is when the clerk pulled out his own gun and fired shots at Horton. Horton then fled the scene, Knightdale police said.
Authorities brought tracking dogs to the store area and searched for Horton.
When they found Horton, he was leaking from a gunshot wound, for which he had a perfectly good excuse.
Horton told officers he had been shot in a drive-by shooting but surveillance video and other evidence placed him at the scene of the robbery, according to police.
D’oh!
Aldafari was unhurt and won’t be charged for engaging in lawful self-defense. Horton, on the other hand, is facing armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon raps. Another successful defensive gun use, one of 2.5 million that happen every year in the US. All’s well that ends well.

Under progressive ideology, he is a victim of society and society has to be punished. The store clerk was the chosen scapegoat. According to progressives, the clerk should have handed over all the money and accepted his fate as righteous retribution from the opressed proletariat.
Tevin Horton is a victim, he is a victim of his own decision to rob. He is a victim of bad choices and his own thuggery.

Clickbait. The title implies that the robber is claiming he was victimized by the store clerk who shot him. In fact, though, he made up a victimization scenario centering on an fictitious drive-by, which makes for a less interesting story.

Liberal point #1. If Mr Horton had not had a gun, he would not have been so bold as rob the store and assaulted the store owner in the first place.
LP #2. If Mr Aldafari had not had a second gun that he fled to retrieve, he would have simply complied with the robber’s demands and the event would have been over without bloodshed
Conclusion. If we’ll all just lay down our weapons (AND take them from those who refuse) and comply with those who are armed, nobody gets hurt.
