You don’t need to be an expert Supreme Court prognosticator, a learned legal scholar or even a decent tea-leaf reader to know that any potential justice for the nation’s highest court who is nominated by the Biden-Harris administration is going to be an anti-gun extremist.

There are some who believe there’s still not enough information about Biden’s pick, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, but I strongly disagree. While it’s true she has never ruled on a gun-rights case while serving on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia — a seat she’s held since 2013 when nominated by Barack Obama — the information is there. All you have to do is take a critical look.

During her Senate confirmation hearings, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked, “Do you believe the individual right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right?”

Judge Jackson’s response was telling: “Senator, the Supreme Court has established that the individual right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right.”

She did not say the right to keep and bear arms was enshrined in the Constitution. Nor did she say it’s part of our God-given right to self-defense. Instead, she believes the RKBA was “established” by the Supreme Court. That, friends, is a judicial philosophy taken straight from the pages of Gun Banning 101.

There is more evidence, albeit somewhat circumstantial, why Judge Jackson’s nomination should be rejected by every Senator who supports the Second Amendment. Just look at those who nominated her. The Biden-Harris administration is the most anti-gun crew to ever occupy the White House. Biden’s campaign website is proof enough of his administration’s true intent.

Among other infringements, Biden wants to ban the manufacture and sale of “assault weapons” and standard-capacity magazines, and place all existing “assault weapons” under the regulatory authority of the National Firearms Act (NFA), which currently regulates machine guns, suppressors, short-barrel rifles and shotguns and other weapons. Biden also wants to institute a mandatory “buyback” — code for confiscation — of “assault weapons” and standard-capacity magazines, ban private firearm sales, and close a plethora of “loopholes,” none of which actually exist.

There has never been an administration so extreme in their anti-gun goals, which they are going to require any Supreme Court nominee to strongly support. In fact, an anti-gun activist justice is crucial for their plans.

To believe otherwise makes no sense.

As part of her nomination process, Judge Jackson spent hours meeting with administration officials, most likely Susan Rice, who runs Biden’s Domestic Policy Council. As part of her duties, Rice oversees a “gun violence” team, which was formed quickly after Biden took office.

Common sense dictates that any Supreme Court nominee who did not voice strong support for Biden’s anti-gun agenda during these meetings would immediately have been shown the door. Furthermore, Judge Jackson was very well coached on all key Second Amendment issues. During her confirmation hearings, she dodged and sidestepped questions easily. It was clear she had spent considerable time learning how to support Biden’s anti-gun plans, without giving too much away.

Therefore, any Senator who supports Judge Jackson’s nomination, who believes they can later claim ignorance of her intent to infringe upon our gun rights, should know this: Joe Biden’s nominee is an anti-gun extremist. While legal scholars predict an easy confirmation, the whole country will be watching and scoring the vote.

  1. Just remember that Trumps radical far right judges have proven so far to be no friends of gun owners either. Let that sink in before criticizing Jackson.

    • darcydodo…Much, much, much better friends than you and your ilk…Again, You Have No Podium.

On the other hand jackson’s song and dance answers shows she is straddling the fence…at least on TV. Who knows? In private she may be a sheet wearing member of the Gun Control military wing of the democRat Party known as the kkk.

    • Hey lil’dtard!
Ever hear of not letting perfection become the enemy of good?

Intelligent people don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.

🤔 Too bad your mom didn’t do that.

        • avatar Geoff "A day without an obsessed, obviously brain-damaged and mentally-ill demented troll (who deserves to live in New Jersey) PR

If anyone knows all about gobbling knobs, it you, little boy.

Have you taken your medicine yet? 🙂

        • Seriously, Geoff?? Do you think ANY sane man would let our brain-damaged troll anywhere NEAR his junk??? The troll couldn’t give away BJs on a Skid Row streetcorner. Except to MinorIQ and dacian the stupid, of course – but I did specify “sane”.

    • Name the cases involving the Second Amendment or guns that the SCOTUS has ruled on in the past five years. We’ll wait.

    • dacian, the Dunderhead. Oh but Trump’s appointees have by and large shown support for gun rights and the 2nd Amendment which you loath.

Calling that phony Brown a judge is an insult to the office of Judge.

        • HAW!!! Our nameless, brainless, d***less troll claims to be “a real man”!!! That’s comedy gold! Child, you’re nothing but a coward of a parlor pink, with delusions of gender.

Go join your circle jerk, dacian the stupid and MinorIQ are waiting. They probably have some salt handy. F*** right off and join them, troll.

        • A Real Man????? You couldn’t walk in my shoes. Punks like you are a dime a doz. Just like some other slime here.

      • Which would beg the question, beverly, why would anyone want to walk in the shoes of a known liar such as yourself?

    • So, your premise is “Other judges are not Constitutional absolutists, so we should confirm another Constitution-shredding idiot.” Very on-brand, dacian the stupid. Like your pathetic hero, Black Chicago Jesus, you think of the Constitution as an impediment to your utopian world. You are an annoying jackanapes, who never had an original thought in your life. You spout Marxist talking points like the useless parrot you are.

Go visit the cable, or join you daily circle jerk with MinorIQ and the nameless, brainless, d***less troll.

    • Our default stance should be that all nominees are assumed to be anti-gun unless they can prove, through their works, that they are pro-gun.

      Talk is cheap.

    • They are a LOT for 2nd Amendment friendly than this “unqualified liberal female”. I’d like to see a list of 2nd Amendment or Gun related cases that SCOTUS has ruled upon in the last 10 years, I wait. What a douche…

  2. Just because she won’t say yes or no, doesn’t mean we don’t know where she stands!

    • Of course we do. She doesn’t even know what a ‘woman’ is. Something that should make every female in America cringe. This kind of mental disability is more than enough to know who and what she is.

  3. She’s terrible for position she’s nominated for,
She won’t answer question’s about constitutional rights, which means she is prejudiced against certain phrases in the constitution, odd for someone who had to swear an oath To uphold & protect the document.
She’s already showed where her beliefs are heading.
The only reason she was nominated is because she’s a woman of color.
No doubt in my mind that there will be weak kneed republicans that will vote for her anyway.

    • Yeah, but she doesn’t know she is a woman because she is not a biologist…or something.

I really have lost hope for future generations if there are any…I just have no hope.

    • This is what the + in LBTQ stands for and has always stood for, The normalization and mainstreaming of pedophilia.

      • It’s funny you mention that. Someone just texted that to me a few minutes ago. I didn’t even consider that.

  4. She wasn’t nominated because she’s anti-gun — which she is. She was nominated because she’s pro-pedophile. That’s important to Hollywood pedophiles, so it’s important to Democrats.

  5. Of course she’s anti-gun. It doesn’t take an article or a genius to figure that out. The way she demurred, and avoided getting away from the SCOTUS says answers, tells us that. She stayed in “safe” territory where she could give an answer without really answering.

    • The fact that she’s a black woman tells us she’s a liberal/Democrat. Then, by definition, she’s anti-gun.

  6. We don’t yet have any words from her directly about the 2A but it’s damn obviously that she’s going to be rabidly anti-2A. Beyond that she’s fully unqualified to be a SCOTUS judge. I watch a number of legal channels on YT and they’ve been sharing clips of her confirmation hearing that show just how unqualified she is. She openly ‘legislates from the bench’. People heard about how she’s supposedly ‘pro-child porn’. While that is somewhat hyperbolic the real problem this reveals that she feels it’s her job to interpret that law when she doesn’t like the result.

  7. She is the kind of black person that Robert Williams author of “Negroes with Guns” was talking about. A black person who is anti-gun, because they receive the accolades and $$$, from their white s0ci@list progressive benefactors. And the positions and advancement were given to her, in return for her giving up on the human rights of blacks.

    • “they receive the accolades and $$$, from their white s0ci@list progressive benefactors.”

Money from evil racist bitches like Shannon Watts. We all know the racist bastard she receives her money from. I seriously need to work on cleaning up my language and I apologize but evil people like this are working so hard to destroy our country I want their painful demise.

    • Your comment is awaiting moderation
“they receive the accolades and $$$, from their white s0ci@list progressive benefactors.”

Money from evil racist bic+he$ like Shannon Watts. We all know the racist ba$tard she receives her money from. I seriously need to work on cleaning up my language and I apologize but evil people like this are working so hard to destroy our country I want their painful demise.

        • Yeah, don’t count on that, muckraker. The TTAG “moderation” system is as inconsistent as it is arbitrary. One day they’ll moderate you for using characters to avoid spelling “naughty” words, the next day they’ll post them without the substitutions. I have no clue what their “rules” are, and don’t much give a s***, anymore. Dan, I like many of your columns, but if you are one of the “moderators”, you and all the other “moderators” are cordially invited to osculate my anal sphincter.

  8. You will be called h0m0ph0be, racist, intolerant, for not supporting adults having sex with children.
And that is why the LGBTQ, xyz crowd, has always been against educating other people’s children about their 2A civil rights. Because a trained and disciplined kid can shoot their attacker.
    Without their parents’ permission.

    • Such as the “pride parades” in the schools where the teachers specifically say to the children “don’t tell your parents, it’s our secret”.

      Just like groomers.

      • When teachers take a roll call with a new class, they always ask what you want to be called since some people shorten their name, use their middle name, etc. Now they say what do you want me to call you, and how do you want me to refer to you while speaking to your parents. No one would have even considered that just a few years ago. Why are they trying to change society and trans the kids?

        • Dude, rhetorical answer: because they are sick, twisted, despicable people of zero character and our children (and no doubt theirs) make easy targets.

        • Rider,

Hardly theoretical, at this point. More in the nature of established, proven FACT. If you know folks from the “School of Education” at any university, they ain’t the sharpest tools in the shed. Halfwit Leftist/fascist idiots, the lot of them. Rational people would puke at the nonsense they are required to “learn” (read: “talking points they are required to repeat mindlessly”).

Just remember, “Doctor” Jill Biden received her PhD in “Education”, for a paper that would embarrass a high school sophomore. She’s as much of an idiot as her husband was before he became senile.

  9. If, as has been said, she is a crt supporter she is not qualified to be a judge. Especially not on the SCOTUS.
How can she uphold a document that she believes is fundamentally flawed?
    She can’t.

  10. Please note that the 2nd paragraph contains an error. The Senate confirmed Judge Jackson to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 2013. President Biden nominated her to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in April 2021, and she the Senate confirmed her in June 2021. The Republican senators who voted yes on her 2021 confirmation vote were Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski.

  11. You know I hope theBiden does try to reclassify ever gunm illegal, I’ve had it up to here _( possums ain’t very tall) with his sht. Letem fill every position of the holy robes with gunm haters because if any of them cannot understand what the words Shall Not Be Infringed means it’s time they learned.
Our Bill of Rights are a joke.

    • Our government is the joke. They refuse to uphold their end of the deal. They need to learn.

  12. You and I can pretty well bet this activist judge was schooled not to say a negative word about the second amendment during her confirmation hearing.I guess they think every gun owner in this country is unaware of Uncle Joeys plans for more gun control and confisgation plans. Not going to happen in whatever time I have left on earth.

  13. Hey- kids. Instead of all the name calling and feel-good posturing on the anonymous internet, how about attempting to make a real difference?

    US Congressional Switchboard number:
    (202)224-3121

Call it and ask to be connected to your US Senator’s office. (Hint: you’ll have to do this twice…)

Speak in a calm tone to the staffer and express your POV. If you can/will make your concerns relevant to yourself as a resident of the state in which you reside, all the better.

If you’re one to go “off prompter” it might be best to write it down. In any event, don’t be abusive and leave your name and address.

Don’t expect to speak to the senator but make the call. You can bet there is a tally being kept.

It’d be nice for groups who post here like SAF, FPC and the likes to provide this type of info in their “articles” rather than merely a list of aspirations and a link to join…

  14. I heard some of the testimony on TV and it was very difficult to understand her 2A stance, particularly as was indicated, those rights enshrined by the Constitution. Taken literally, her comments were neither pro or con 2A, but I’ve listened to these Q&As from previous SOTUS candidates, and they all demure on fine points. The best one can do is look at their history, but again, with this one, there really isn’t any on 2A issues. I agree that, based on Biden’s nomination of Chipman for ATF director, that we need more clarity from these candidates and they should be regarded suspiciously until proven otherwise. That said, so far the Supreme Court in general to date, has not been very supportive of the 2A and that needs to change.

    • “ I heard some of the testimony on TV and it was very difficult to understand her 2A stance…”

Pretty simple for me: She admits that SCOTUS has upheld the individual right, which infers (rather strongly, IMO), that, like Dred Scott and a few other precedent-setting cases, that very decision could also be reversed by a later court.

This attitude, which places SCOTUS above our Creator, is unacceptable to even contemplate in my universe. This, along with other well-rehearsed dodges, as in the definition of a woman/female, for example, indicates a high probability that she will do all she can to overturn 6000 years of fairly universal doctrine to bring on the Age of Enlightenment in the US.

She needs to be quickly and soundly rejected. Contact your senators.
(202)224-3121 gets you to the US Congressional Switchboard. Ask to be connected to your senator’s office and make your case.

  15. I just discovered some interesting info:
Judge Jackson is the great great grandniece of Andrew Jackson.
Her great grandfather was Stonewall Jackson.
    Her mother was Mahalia Jackson.
    Her father is Jesse Jackson.
Her brothers are Bo Jackson and Samuel L Jackson.
    Her cousin is Reggie Jackson.
    Her son was Michael Jackson.
    Her daughter is Janet Jackson.
She lives in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
I guess she’s qualified for the SCOTUS.
