Following last night’s mass shooting at a Mandalay Bay country music concert in which 50 people were killed and over 400 wounded in Las Vegas, President Trump addressed the nation. In an uncharacteristically, but appropriately somber message, he acknowledged the work of local law enforcement and first responders. He pledged the support of the FBI and Homeland Security in the investigation.

The President quoted scripture — the Lord is close to the broken hearted — and called for unity after the horror in Las Vegas. In times of tragedy and horror, he said, “America comes together as one, and always has. … Our unity cannot be shattered by evil, our bonds cannot be broken by violence.” He then acknowledged that when “searching for some kind of meaning in the chaos, answers don’t come easy.”

He noted that he would be traveling to Las Vegas on Wednesday to visit with law enforcement officers, first responders, victims and their families.

  1. Again.

Trump could cure cancer and the headlines would read “Trump puts thousands out of work and closes factories!”

Blame no one but the person behind the tool, for anyone is capable of evil at any time.
