Well, he is fast. But he is holding the trigger and âfanningâ, even for the real bullet shot. Presumably the black powder materials are whatâs breaking the balloons.
The real bullet is almost certainly a wax bullet. You can buy giant boxes full of wax bullets for 2-3 cents per and you stuff one in a primed case and go to town. For instance:

He is fast, looks like 16 on the splits. But most decent shooters can do 30 all day long. That’s still 3 hits in 1 second (not including the draw)
