It’s increasingly clear that Joe Biden has a ring in his nose and is led around by those who really pull the strings in his administration. To further expose this, the Second Amendment Foundation’s Investigative Journalism Project filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on the Biden administration seeking to bring to light hidden communications between team Biden and the gun control industry.

As they say, “sunlight is the best disinfectant.”

SAF is seeking documentation of any and all contacts between the organizations and the White House, as well as visitor logs, looking to reveal exactly who has been coordinating with the Biden administration in its ongoing war on the gun industry, gun owners, and the Second Amendment.

From the Second Amendment Foundation . . .

The Second Amendment Foundation’s Investigative Journalism Project (SAF/IJP) has filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the White House, seeking copies of documents, both digital and print, “that show interactions between White House staff and members of gun control and gun safety groups.” The FOIA request was made by IJP editor Lee Williams, whose coverage of gun-related news appears in TheGunMag.com, a SAF-owned publication, as well as several other online news sites.

“The Biden-Harris administration runs the least transparent White House in recent history,” Williams said. “Everything is conducted in secret, behind closed doors. Through this Freedom of Information Act request, we will start holding the shot-callers accountable for their constant infringements on our Second Amendment rights. At the very least, we will find out who’s actually orchestrating their war on our guns.”

SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb said the move was necessary in order to learn just how closely and under-the-radar the Biden White House is working with the gun prohibition lobby on legislation and other efforts that may impair Second Amendment rights.

“Joe Biden is a perennial anti-gun-rights politician and he has spent his entire career pushing various gun control schemes that would turn the right to keep and bear arms into a heavily-regulated privilege,” Gottlieb observed. “Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act, we might be able to learn just how deeply entrenched the gun ban movement has become in his administration.”

The FOIA request seeks copies of all documents, including emails and visitor logs, between the White House and gun control and gun safety groups including, but not limited to, Everytown for Gun Safety, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, The Trace, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Third Way, Newtown Action Alliance, Gun Control Giving Fund, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, Violence Policy Center, Gun Violence Archive, Sandy Hook Promise, March for Our Lives, Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions, Alliance for Gun Responsibility and Guns Down America.

“If the Biden White House declines to produce the requested materials, we’re going to wonder why,” Gottlieb said, “and we will not be satisfied until we get some answers, even if it means a court fight.”

The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nation’s oldest and largest tax-exempt education, research, publishing and legal action group focusing on the Constitutional right and heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Founded in 1974, The Foundation has grown to more than 720,000 members and supporters and conducts many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control.

Who wants to guess how long the political hacks in the Biden administration will delay, deny, and obfuscate rather than simply providing the documents? Or, perhaps, they’ll claim there are just too many of them to sort through.

On thing’s for sure…the people running Biden’s War on Guns are “by any means necessary” types when it comes to implementing their authoritarian anti-rights agenda. They’re going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming into compliance.

  1. This is one of those “conspiracies” that upon presented evidence everyone on the pro-2A side shouts “see, we told you so!” and everyone on the conspirators side shrugs their shoulders and says something about making sausage and means being justified by ends then finishes by calling the pro-2A side Nazis, racists or some other term void of meaning.

    Money and time well spent.

    • While my previous comment was party in jest you likely have the harsh reality of what is likely especially with how the patriot act/NSA revelations went down.

  2. while I support the attempt, it won’t mean anything. Even if they released a note saying give us X gun control law and we will pay you 5 million dollars, the DOJ would just ignore it, a civil case would take years to even get to trial and the people responsible would just go about their lives.

While the Government itself is for all intents and purposes immune from prosecution for constitutional violations, the groups that are conspiring with them are not, so maybe that would be a better target.

  3. The left finally has their ultimate sock puppet with Joe Biden. A demented brain dead, cognitively impaired old man that is easy to control. They have their one 4 year chance to do things so they pull out the old man to yell at clouds for them. I’d bet on any given day Biden is completely unaware of the things that are being done in his name.

  4. Come and take it. Here it is come and get it. Tell you what, I’ll start sending you the ammunition. Here it comes, that’s it catch it. I got a whole bunch more, let’s see how many bullets you can catch.

  5. I expect we will see a bunch of contact back and forth with Susan Rice and all the people who report to and interact with her, since she is largely who is in charge of policy and the meat puppet known as Biden.

    • “I expect we will see a bunch of contact back and forth with Susan Rice and all the people who report to and interact with her…”

A real heavy-hitter in that universe is Valerie Jarrett. She keeps a low profile these days, but rest assured, Obama still relies on her…

  6. Protracted court battles and acres of obfuscation. Gonna need another ink factory in China to supply all the black they’ll use on redactions–it may be easier to just send plain black paper.

  7. … the Second Amendment Foundation’s Investigative Journalism Project filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on the Biden administration seeking to bring to light hidden communications between team Biden and the gun control industry.

    Ha ha. Good joke.

Oh wait, what’s that? SAF is not joking? They think our federal Executive Branch will process this request? Sure, and I have ocean-front property for sale in Nebraska.

Any content which is the object of this request will NEVER see the light of day, much less land in the laps of the Second Amendment Foundation.

  8. Democrats meet with anti-gun groups. Republicans meet with the National Association of Manufacturers.

All Presidents meet with lobbyists. What’s the big deal?

  9. INspite of nthe implications in the opening comment neither Joe Biden or any other President operates in a bloody vacuum – that’s what they have a GOVERNMENT CABINETYou appoint your TEAM and let them get on wiith it if you have any sense.
Ronald Reagan was known for it and for all his faults and strengths many of which he recognisably shares with JOE BIDEN he will go down in history as the President who oversaw the collapse of the Soviet Union and the ending of the Cold War. Reagan outlined policy appointed his TEAM and let the experts get on with what the were employed to do and above all HE LISTENED to proper advice and not just at home either. And above all he knew his limitations.

I can well remember the sharp intakes of breath when an bit actor was voted in as President.

    • sir albert of nuttingham…What joe biden is doing is conspiracy against the people and the Constitition he took an oath to protect and defend.

    • An actor becoming President is not really remarkable.

Someone with evident cognitive disability becoming President is remarkable. That is not a partisan observation, I watched both my parents advance thru these stages as well. I see many similarities, they all want to be perceived as being in full control of their minds, and fight hard to maintain the illusion to others, but mostly to themselves. A caring spouse, son, daughter or close friend would gently guide them and keep them protected. We are not seeing that with Uncle Joe, he is being abused and seriously used as a pawn. It is sad really.

  10. “Lions and Tigers and Bears; Oh My…”

    Politicians acting politically? Whooda thunk?

Question: If SAF were to receive perfect, legible, unredacted copies of documents….then what? What does the alleged coordination actually “prove”?

Are we expecting that Biden’s administration would request all media outlets to publicize every contact with political supporters/donors? To date, the Biden administration has not hidden their hatred of an armed populace.

    • “What does the alleged coordination actually “prove”?”

It’s a ‘knowledge is power’ thing.

Us being aware of what’s going on over there provides intel on what they may be plotting next. Constantly needing to operate via reaction instead of action is a far better position to be in…

  11. “Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act, we might be able to learn just how deeply entrenched the gun ban movement has become in his administration.”

Hate to say it, Al, but I believe we already have a pretty good idea of who, and how influential the anti gun orgs are.

Better to spend the money on pro-Constitutional incumbents and candidates. Even if unredacted coms are released, exactly what will that gain?

America needs real, freedom supportive people in the elected offices, not tiny, feel-good attempts that are likely to smell of fund raising attempts as well. I do generally support SAF’s goals and objectives but I doubt anything worthwhile will result from this FOIA request.

    • “My elbow hurts.”

Exercise it with many reps of 12-ounce arm curls… 🙂

“I suspect he prefers to be proactive, rather than reactive.”

Probably so. I know what it is when your fingers don’t type what you are thinking.
