The SIG Custom Works Spectre series pistols are 9mm striker-fired pistols, featuring the all-new LXG Grip Module with laser engraving on all four sides, a deep trigger undercut, and extended beavertail, complemented by the Custom Works Spectre slide with distressed finish and custom Spectre XSERIES lightening cuts. Both pistols include XSERIES flat triggers, XRAY3 Day/Night sights, and custom optic ready slides.
The SIG Custom Works P320 Spectre is direct-mount compatible with the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMEO1Pro, the soon to be released SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMEO2, Delta Point Pro, and RMR Reflex Optics, and ships with (2) 15-round steel magazines. Why would I pay more to get this with distressed slides? I’d much rather do the distressing on my own and over time.

Yes, definitely. It’s just like “distressing” my own furniture and clothes by natural wear and tear. Every “blemish” is a memory – even more cherished if one of my sons did it.

Why would anyone pay extra $$$ for the slide with scratched coating and full of unnecessary drilled holes?
Agreed on the extra cuts, but I’m guessing the “distressed” look of the finish is to alleviate any concerns about scratches or holster wear. Much like how we all grit our teeth over that first ding or scratch on our new car’s finish, but don’t really blink over the tenth one.

One could argue it would be akin to paying top dollar for a brand new pair of “worn out” designer jeans, or purchasing a brand new car that has paint and body damage for full MSRP.
To each their own… it appears value is in the eye of the beholder.
It is disappointing to see SIG is abandoning product innovations and gives priority to cosmetics.

I’d be happy just to see a stock P365 available for purchase at my LGS. This article is nice eye candy, but it’s like seeing an ad for a steak dinner from a four-star restaurant while your local supermarket is mostly empty after a buying panic.

For real though, when will manufacturers stop advertising properly texted grips as an add on, feature, or upgrade and just make it standard. Even P80 lowers and Taurus now have peferfected texturing, congrats on at least meeting their standards.
G3C is looking really good for a balanced budget option. Shame it is rarely in stock.

What’s with this trend gun manufacturers putting all kinds of holes and cuts in guns these days? Looks like a way to get all kinds of shit stuck in your gun. You can tell a lot of these designers these days don’t use guns outside of trips to the range or show off to their friends.

Massive f/n waste of money. And artificial distressing is obnoxious. At $1099, I’ll do business at the Langdon Tactical store.

Hell pre panic prices you could get 3 glocks, or 3 m&p’s, or 4 ruger security 9s.
Online with a rebate you could get 4 M&P compact 2.0s for $100 more prepanic.
$75 of that was 3 transfer fees.
I have a few M&Ps and they don’t disappoint.
I have a SD that I screw around with and S&W just made the grip perfectly.
It’s a grey frame, I paid the same for as the M&Ps were and Apexed the trigger.
Is it a Sig? No. Is very easy to CC? Yes. Does it always go boom? YES
I did not change out the striker spring and the trigger is right at 5 lbs.
Add to that you could buy PD trade GDs, Ranger Ts or HSTs for $16 to $28.
A scuff on the slide? I must be doing something right.

SIG’s introduction of a new trim level every month reminds me of all the different “collectors cups” you used to be able to get from fast food places, except 100x more expensive.

I own two SIG’s, and I’d love a 3rd and then some, but this stuff is similar to some yearly apple refreshes. Keep it real sig, stop with the runway fashion shit. So much potential wasted on a “limited edition” the market doesn’t need, or want. Willing to bet 500 of these are made from leftover shit SIG had lying around before a remodel.
I like that it is a “standout” for concealed carry. Do they have a Department of Oxymoron over there? Probably. Staffed by the same guys that would carry something like this to show off to their impressionable boyfriends.
