I guess no one will ever see the key pad cause it blends in do well with the keyoad decor
…And the chrome sticker on the front that says “snapsafe” to break up those smooth contemporary lines. Now take that logo off and put a clock face on the front where HH:MM is your keypad and you have a seller. Drives me nuts when “concealment” companies want to slather their product with their logo. Kinda defeats the purpose.

On the Hornady the glass screen is touch sensitive so the keypad only appears when touched- it’s only the digital clock that stays on (and has two brightness settings).

The Hornady is a bit more expensive (MSRP) and quite a bit smaller. Probably a better choice in some instances, but not all.
I was expecting an example of how to incorporate it into furniture. Looks like it just bolts under something. Is there a remote control option so the unit could actually be hidden?
How much you bet that the manufacturer has included a backdoor into the computer that enables law enforcement to remotely lock your safe to deny you access to your guns while they are kicking down your door?
The Hornady version opens via a manually-resettable four digit code, programmable RFID keys, and a barrel key. The USB port is for the charging cord- not to connect to a computer. Not being connected to a computer and lacking Wi-Fi capability. I don’t see how it could be operated “remotely”- or have a “backdoor”.
They could have atleast made the display a clock. But I would prefer something for stealth not have any wording or anything alpha numeric on the front. This would catch my attention pretty quick.
