Jon Patton over at The Gun Collective, TGC, announced a pretty big giveaway: a Barrett M82A1 .50 BMG rifle. Yeah, that’s a $9,500 gun. There are nine different ways to enter, all of which can be found HERE.

The contest only runs through the end of January, so don’t procrastinate.

Impressive giveaway, Jon!

  1. Sooo… can I let them keep it in exchange for a few things I actually want and can afford to shoot?
    🤠

    • Being from CA myself, I’d HAVE to request something else. The ‘ol .50 BMG is too scary for Sacramento to allow us to have, though LE is allowed to. Because reasons.

  2. My “here” don’t work, probably wanted an email anyway. Shucks, I had a feeling I’d have won.

  3. Would be great fun to own and shoot one. Would also be bank account busting. Free or not, that ammo wasn’t cheap before all this bad craziness.

But what the heck, if it’s free, I’ll enter. Won’t win it but if I did I’d just turn around and sell it. Put the money to something I really want and can make use of.

      • Poor kids probably can’t stand the rejection of not winning… Guess I’m lucky- over the years I’ve won a Kawasaki Jet Ski, a Loomis Walleye Rod and several other great things in free drawings.

I don’t have any problem deleting messages or tossing junk mail. Of course, when you do win something decent it will cost you. I think IRS and IA collected something like $2600 on the jet ski deal. I also put my wife’s name into a $100 NRA Whittington Center raffle at their donor breakfast at an AM a few years back. Didn’t even realize there was a gun in the basket. She won a Republic Forge Patriot Carry model in .45 ACP, full dress with mastadon grips, case colored frame, etc. Wonderful gun but we paid about the same in taxes as the jet ski. That Barrett M82 will cost more…
