Summertime and the livin’ is steamy. Especially here in central Texas lately where we’ve had a string of triple digit days for weeks now which has prompted Will Robinson to pare back what he’s carrying. He writes:
I’m a student at a prominent Central-ish Texas School during a break in my military service. As school is out in mid Summer in central Texas, I’ve streamlined my carry just a bit. All of this fits either in my pockets or on my belt, and with a loose raglan shirt over it, is surprisingly well hidden.
I like that 4″ XDs-9. Mine is 3.3″ but sometimes wish I had the 4″.
I got myself one of each and all the 3.3 does is sit in the safe. I love my 4″ XDs.
I thought long and hard about which one to pick, and the 4″ shoots so much better for me, and doesn’t really carry any worse, especially in my Crossbreed.
I use a Concealment Express IWB holster myself.
