Tyrant CNC is excited to announce the release of their new +5 magazine extension for the H&K VP9/VP40/P30! This extension will add 5 additional rounds to your 15-round 9mm or .40 S&W magazine, giving you a total of 20 rounds of ammunition.

 

The extension is machined from 6000 series aluminum, bead blasted and then anodized for a durable finish. As with all of Tyrant CNC magazine extensions installation happens in seconds with no tools necessary AND comes with a 10% power spring!

  3. These look very similar to the HK Mark 23 5rd mag extensions available at HKPartsUSA.
    I have three of those (17rds of 45acp per mag), they’ve all performed flawlessly.

    I would expect these would too.

  5. You can get factory 20rd mags for the VP9/P30, and it’s probably cheaper than buying a 15rd mag and +5 ext. The VP9/P30 in 9mm originally had max capacity at 15rds, but HK updated the follower/spring in 2020 (and added two witness holes) so the new mags hold 17. HK sells an upgrade kit for your existing 15rd mags which isn’t too pricey.

    This extension would be best if you already had a 17rd mag or the factory upgrade kit, as that should get you 22rds rather than just 20. Ideally, for the 15rd mags this kit should optionally include a new follower to get the full +7.

    VP40 doesn’t have factory extended mags so I guess the extension is good for those.
