I don’t know how, but this has turned into AR-15 week at TTAG. Right after I’m done here, I’m posting the follow-up to Don Gammill Jr.’s first installment of How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the AR-15. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, why not? As I pointed out in an earlier post (including a reference to Ruger’s AR-15 clone the SR-556), I don’t think we’ve seen the end of the AR boom. Nothing, and by that I mean nothing, makes people want something more than threatening to take it away from them. The possibility that the upcoming U.N. Small Arms treaty may be ratified by the U.S. in 2012 hasn’t hit the gun buyer’s radar yet (we’re working on it). Once it does, Helllllllo Kitty. Meanwhile, we here at TTAG have decided to do a “project gun.” We’re looking to build a gun whose thematic awesomeness puts the pink pussy in her place. Any suggestions?

  1. The project gun needs to be ultra violent to counter HelloKitty. Maybe a '300' build?
